Atlanta Falcons Reach Injury Settlement With Peter Konz

Vaughn McClure, ESPN’s beat writer for the Falcons, announced that the Falcons reached an injury settlement with center Peter Konz:

Konz was a second round pick out of Wisconsin who looked to have a lot of promise coming out of college. However, Konz struggled throughout his 39 games played, and the Falcons have opted to reach an injury settlement with the center after he suffered a torn ACL last October. Unfortunately for Konz, he has not been able to fully recover from the injury, and that is what led to his release. The settlement puts the Falcons at the required 75-man roster limit heading into the 4th and final preseason game.
