Justin Blalock Retires

Offensive Guard Justin Blalock announced his retirement yesterday afternoon. Blalock was cut by the Falcons earlier this offseason to provide more cap room for the organization. He was a 2nd round draft pick out of the University of Texas and played all 8 of his seasons with the Falcons. He started in an unbelievable 125 games in his 128 game career and provided a valuable veteran presence during his later years with the team. Blalock was linked to a few teams as a possible offseason acquisition after being cut by the Falcons, but he made no commitments and decided to call it quits. Falcons fans wish nothing but the best to Justin Blalock in all of his future endeavors.
