Philadelphia 76ers- Markelle Fultz– The 76ers officially made their move to the top of the draft. This is a lock.
Phoenix Suns- Lonzo Ball– TRADE ALERT! Yes, there have been rumors out there of the Suns interest in Lonzo Ball. There is no way that happens at four, so they reach a deal with the Lakers, who are not sold on Ball and are just fine settling with Josh Jackson or Jayson Tatum.
Boston- Jayson Tatum– Tatum sneaks his way into the top 3. His stock is on the rise, as he is more polished than Jackson at this point and would probably be a better fit for the Celtics.
Los Angeles Lakers- Josh Jackson– Surprisingly Josh Jackson falls outside of the top 3, but not very far, as the Lakers land possibly the most talented player in the draft and get more picks in future drafts from their deal with the Suns.
Sacramento Kings- De’Aaron Fox– The incredibly fast point guard comes off the board to the Kings.
Orlando Magic- Malik Monk– Monk is the most electric scorer in this draft. If it was not for him being undersized, he could be going #1 overall.
Minnesota Timberwolves- Lauri Markkanen– Markkanen would add to the Timberwolves already loaded young core as a nice fit down low with Karl-Anthony Towns.
New York Knicks- Jonathan Isaac– The Knicks need help everywhere, and with Carmelo Anthony’s time there coming to an end, Isaac would be a solid replacement on the wing.
Dallas Mavericks- Dennis Smith– Like the Knicks, the Mavs are looking for improvement everywhere. Dennis Smith should be able to handle the point guard duties for them from day one.
Los Angeles Lakers- Zach Collins– TRADE ALERT! The Lakers are reportedly shopping D’Angelo Russell for a top-12 pick with interest in Luke Kennard and Zach Collins. The Kings land Russell and the Lakers get their guy.
Charlotte Hornets- Donovan Mitchell– Mitchell is a tenacious defender that could play either guard position in the NBA. He might be better suited as a point guard, however, as his size and length would be difficult for smaller guards to handle.
Detroit Pistons- Frank Ntilikina– Pistons have showed a willingness to part ways with Reggie Jackson. Nitilikina could be their point guard of the future.
Denver Nuggets- Justin Jackson– Jackson is one of the most pro-ready prospects in the draft. At 6′ 8″ with a deadly shot from deep, he will be a perfect fit in today’s NBA.
Miami Heat- John Collins– Collins had the highest PER in the entire NCAA last year at 36.3. He is a devastating low-post scorer that can get to the foul line and convert his free throws. He would be a great compliment to Whiteside in the post.
Portland Trail Blazers- T.J Leaf– Leaf and Nurkic would make and incredible one-two punch down low.
Chicago Bulls- Jarrett Allen– The Bulls need help everywhere. Allen is one of the most talented center prospects in the draft with an incredible 7′ 5″ wingspan.
Milwaukee Bucks- Luke Kennard– The Bucks are full of physical freaks, but Kennard adds some shooting to possibly the most talented young squad in the game.
Indiana Pacers- Harry Giles– The Pacers are in full rebuild mode and this pick is all about upside. Giles did not play much during his freshman year because of injury, but he was arguably the best player in his high school class.
Atlanta Hawks- OG Anunoby– Anunoby is a bit of a tweener but his defensive prowess will catch Budenholzer and the Hawks eye. He could be a replacement for Paul Millsap, if the Hawks part ways with the four-time all-star.
Portland Trail Blazers- Ike Anigbogu– Did not play a bunch his freshman season at UCLA, but has the physical attributes to be a force as a defender and rebounder in this league.
Oklahoma City Thunder- Bam Adebayo- Adebayo is a young prospect who had a productive freshman year at Kentucky. There are questions about his basketball IQ, but there is enough talent here for Adebayo to be an all-star in the NBA.
Brooklyn Nets- Justin Patton– Patton was a pleasant surprise for Creighton as a redshirt freshman. He is a 7-footer with a nice all-around game that should translate well to the modern NBA style of play.
Toronto Raptors- D.J Wilson– Wilson became a household name during Michigan’s NCAA Tournament run. He is a long power forward with a versatile game. He was a productive three-point shooter last season and could put the ball on the floor and attack the basket.
Utah Jazz- Semi Ojeleye– He is one of the older prospects in the draft, but Ojeleye could be a great player in this league on the wing. He shot over 42% last season from behind the arc and is a terrific rebounder that can play in the post.
Orlando Magic-Ivan Rabb– He is a little undersized for the center position, where he is projected, but can stretch the floor with his mid-range game and improving three-point shot.
Portland Trail Blazers- Tyler Lydon– His game will transfer to today’s NBA. He is a 6’10” stretch-four that can really shoot from behind the arc. Shot nearly 40% from three last season for Syracuse.
Brooklyn Nets- Jordan Bell– Defensively Bell is as good as it gets. He is the best shot-blocker in the draft and can rebound the ball well on both ends of the court. If he can ever learn to score consistently he could be a real star in the NBA.
Los Angeles Lakers- Caleb Swanigan– If we are going off college production, Swanigan might go number one. Somebody in the first round should take a shot on this talent.
San Antonio Spurs- Terrance Ferguson– An overseas shooter for the Spurs. Sounds about right. Ferguson bypassed college to play pro overseas. He did not play a ton, but eventually carved out a role for himself.
Utah Jazz- Derrick White– White is one of the older players in the draft at almost 23. The Jazz could use another point guard, especially with George Hill’s impending free agency, and at this spot, White is great option with unique length at the position.
