The Falcons will host the red-hot Buccaneers Sunday in the second matchup between the two teams. Atlanta has never beaten a Tom Brady-led team, and now, Tampa Bay will look to sweep the Falcons in consecutive seasons for the first time since they entered the NFC South in the early 2000s. The Falcons have recently been dealing with injuries to a couple of key starters, but they’re getting healthier as December rolls around.

They slowly worked Jaylinn Hawkins back into the defensive rotation against the Jaguars, but Atlanta could be welcoming back several other key contributors. On Wednesday, Arthur Smith said Deion Jones would be monitored all week but was present at practice. He also pointed out that Kendall Sheffield and Jonathan Bullard could potentially practice while confirming Qadree Ollison is back. Well, two of those three defenders were in fact at practice.

Mykal Walker replaced Debo against Jacksonville and played admirably. He missed a couple of tackles, which he’s struggled with consistently, but he was more reliable in coverage. The return of Jones and Bullard can’t come at a better time as the Falcons host the division leaders, who really hold every single advantage over Atlanta.
