Braves: Camargo likely out for NLDS, Ender likely back

After an underwhelming 2019 season, Johan Camargo finally got in a groove after getting called back up from AAA Gwinnett. And then, he fractured his shin. Braves fans were hoping he would be back to hopefully continue where he left off, but that will likely not be in the NLDS:

Last year the Braves struggled against the Dodgers due to lack of depth, so this is frustrating to see. It may not move the needle much, but it surely moves it some. Not having Camargo or Culberson who can man nearly any position hurts.

The good news is that the Braves are expecting Ender Inciarte back on Friday, barring any setbacks:

At the very least, Ender provides elite defense and should replace the role Billy Hamilton has assumed of late with the potential to do more. Like Camargo, before getting hurt, Inciarte was playing his best baseball of the season and will look to make an impact in the playoffs. The Braves will likely go with a hot hand approach between Inciarte, Austin Riley, and Adam Duvall.

The good news is that Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna Jr. seem to be a go for the playoffs, and the team already got back Nick Markakis ahead of schedule. No team will be 100% so the Braves will just have to battle on.
