The Braves AA affiliate is moving out of Mississippi for the 2025 season and to the state of Georgia, where they will be located in Columbus. Yesterday, they dropped their team name along with their team colors and logos.

Georgia? The Peach State. But a clingstone? More on that and how the color scheme and logo of the #Braves' newest affiliate came to be.

The Columbus Clingstones, which is a peach apparently. Yes, I had to look that up, but you might have guessed it from the logo.
I love everything about the move. It’s always nice having another Braves affiliate closer to home, for fans and the organization. The color scheme is just about perfect. I would have gone with a strong navy blue over the black (if you can’t tell from the logo on this site), but that’s really splitting hairs, and it’s never a bad idea to go back to the state’s roots with the peach concept.
