In his first at-bat of the game, Ender Inciarte singled up the middle. Right as he went to round the first base bag, he pulled up awkwardly. Brian Snitker and the training staff went out to check on him, ultimately deciding to pull him from the game.
At first glance, it appeared to be a hamstring injury. Inciarte hesitantly exited the game. The club later confirmed it was hamstring tightness, and he was removed as a precaution. Johan Camargo took over as his replacement. If there is one thing the Braves have this year that they didn’t have last year, it’s depth. Matt Joyce and Charlie Culberson will also help fill the void if the issue forces Inciarte to the Injured List.
