Greyson Jenista is a first baseman/outfielder who slugs for raw power. Projected by many to be a first-round pick, it seems the Braves got a good value here at 49th overall. Some say Jenista has 70-grade power. It is time for the Braves to stock up on another power hitter, or two.
Jenista has the size you’d expect when you hear first baseman that hits for power. Â He is a solid 6’4″, 220 pounds. What is really impressive is that he manned center field when not at first, not the corner spots. He throws righty, but bats lefty.
Jenista had .917 OPS during his three years with the Wichita State Shockers.
