Braves fans who were hopeful that top prospect Mike Soroka could make a comeback for the playoffs will surely be disappointed by the most recent tweet from Mark Bowman:

Now, this is not the worst thing in the world. Soroka should take his time recovering, as he is too talented to risk rushing back. The Braves also just made a move for another starting pitcher and now have a full rotation of top 100 prospects in AAA. The injury is unfortunate but gives the Braves a chance to see what they have going forward.
Soroka could be a huge part of this rotation in 2018. We hope he can be cleared to throw soon here and that this will not be a lingering issue going forward.
