Dan Quinn has been hesitant commenting on the Julio Jones’ contract saga, but it appears he might have heard something through the grapevine recently. At this afternoon’s press conference, he said he was confident a deal between Jones and the Falcons would be complete before kickoff Sunday.

Yesterday, Pro Football Talk reported that he was hearing a Julio Jones deal was already complete. That was before Jones spoke to the media, which didn’t inspire much confidence in the Falcons faithful. However, with everything I’ve heard from all sides, I stand with Quinn in thinking that a Jones’ contract extension will be announced at any moment between now and Sunday’s 1:00 ET kickoff.
