Eddie Rosario has the best response to Mets fans heckling him

Braves trade deadline Rosario

As if the Braves and Mets rivalry wasn’t already great, it’s only going to get better with time. These two teams are set up for sustained success, and this year’s division race is just the beginning. Two great teams and two great fan bases going at it for 162+ games a year. What more could you want as a baseball fan?

Of course, New Yorkers are known for their constant heckling. Opposing players are well aware of what they are about to face before walking into Citi Field, especially the Braves. Fortunately, the Braves have the ultimate trump card — the most recent World Series. Which is something Eddie Rosario was quick to flaunt when he was getting heckled by Mets fans in the outfield on Friday night.

It’s just something you love to see. Rosario was arguably the most critical piece to the Braves World Series run last season, going absolutely nuclear against the Dodgers in the NLCS. And he played a huge part in last night’s win, starting the rally with a three-run homer and ending the night with two hits.

The stage never seems too bright for Rosario, and his resurgence must continue if the Braves want to make up the ground needed in the NL East. Over his last nine games, Eddie is hitting .333 with four extra-base hits — good for a .934 OPS.
