The Falcons announced two signings on Wednesday. The first was reserve guard, Adam Gettis, who has spent the last two seasons with the Bucs. The second was veteran safety/linebacker hybrid, Kemal Ishmael.

Ishmael was drafted by the Falcons in 2013 out of the University of Central Florida as a safety. He has since turned into more of a reserve linebacker for the dirty birds. The deal is for one-year and adds to the linebacking core, which should allow them to pass over the position in the draft. In 81 games played over the last six seasons, Ishmael has recorded 231 tackles, 16 passes defended, five interceptions and three forced fumbles.
