With Julio Jones being traded to the Titans, Falcons fans will wave goodbye to one of the greatest players in franchise history. Of course, the Falcons are now able to sign their rookie class, but they will also have some money to play with afterwards, and there are some solid free agents available. Our guest on the upcoming episode of Talkin’ Birdy gave us a look into how much the Falcons could spend after their rookies put pen to paper:

I already broke down some free agents that Atlanta could sign. If you want to check out some of the guys I like, the links are below:

While my focus remains solely on the defense, I could see Atlanta going after an offensive lineman like Trai Turner as well, even though I think left guard should take a backseat. In addition, bringing in a guy like Le’Veon Bell to the running back room could be interesting as well. Although I will sorely miss Julio Jones, the Falcons have a golden opportunity to address two areas that have been a problem in Atlanta for a long time — the secondary and the pass rush.
