In a surprising turn of events, Deshaun Watson is being traded to the Cleveland Browns, according to Adam Schefter.
Deshaun Watson has decided he wants to play for the Cleveland Browns in a stunning change of events, per sources. Watson has informed the Houston Texans that he now is willing to waive the no-trade clause in his contract to be dealt to Cleveland.

In what seemed like a two-horse race between the Falcons and Saints, it turns out the Browns never stopped recruiting Watson. Atlanta loses out on Watson and now must answer to Matt Ryan, who was sitting idly by while all this unfolded. It is possible the Falcons burned this bridge, but I’d argue the best thing they could do now is trade Ryan to acquire as many draft assets as possible. It is time to hit the reset button, but regardless of what the front office does, the fan base has never been more disinterested, and this won’t help.
