I’ve been one of Matt’s biggest supporters, and it’s not surprising he reached this accolade in the first game. He only needed 289 yards to move past Elway, and he now sits around 5,000 yards behind Big Ben for 8th. It’s a shame to see Ryan and the WR corps’ effort go to waste on Sunday — Gage, Ridley, and Julio all racked up over 100 yards receiving. It’s promising to see Ryan distribute the ball around, and he’s going to have to be elite once again if this team is going to overcome the vanilla play-calling we saw on Sunday. Congrats Matty Ice!
