The Falcons are trying to put their Week 1 meltdown against the Saints in the rearview mirror. Atlanta will travel west to Los Angeles to take on the Rams in Week 2 as Sean McVay’s team looks to rebound after an embarrassing showing on national television against the Bills. The Falcons released the official depth chart ahead of the showdown in SoFi:

PR Avery Williams
KOR Cordarrelle Patterson -OR- Avery Williams

Cordarrelle Patterson did get some burn at kick return over Avery Williams but never actually took the ball out of the endzone. Look for the Falcons to continue to let the veteran return man get opportunities on kickoffs because the former All-Pro is one touchdown away from breaking the all-time NFL record.

The Falcons also added Anthony Firkser to the active roster after beginning the season on the practice squad. It was a shocking stint, but it was more of an administrative move than anything. Firkser did see limited action on Sunday, totaling three snaps and hauling in one reception for six yards.

For the most part, though, nothing on the Falcons’ depth chart changes.
