The Hawks have agreed on a two-year contract to bring Mike Muscala back to the Hawks.
Free agent forward Mike Muscala has agreed to a two-year, $10M deal to stay with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources tell The Vertical.

$5 million annually is a steal for Muscala. Charania also reported that the second year is a player option. However, this deal will help both parties. Moose will likely be the starting center for the Hawks over Miles Plumlee and Diamond Stone. Though he is not a great rebounder, he helps with spacing and this could help the development of Dennis Schroder. He should be able to cash in on a much larger contract after a season of starting in the NBA.
Welcome back, Moose.
