The most recent All-Star voting results have been released, and Trae Young has extended his lead over Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker as the top vote-getter in the Eastern Conference.

Young now leads Irving by over 200,000 votes after leading by less than 100,000 the last time the results were revealed. He has a nearly 300,000 vote lead over Kemba Walker.

There’s been a lot of talk recently about whether Young belongs in the All-Star Game, given his team has the worst record in the NBA at 9-32, but that is nothing but nonsense. Young is already the best point guard in the Eastern Conference, and he¬†extends that lead over his counterparts almost every time out. Currently, the second-year superstar is third in the NBA in points and fourth in assists.

But just because he’s close to reaching the All-Star Game, doesn’t mean you should stop voting. To do so, click here. Voting ends on January 20th.
