The most recent All-Star voting results have been released, and Trae Young has extended his lead over Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker as the top vote-getter in the Eastern Conference.

Young now leads Irving by over 200,000 votes after leading by less than 100,000 the last time the results were revealed. He has a nearly 300,000 vote lead over Kemba Walker.

There’s been a lot of talk recently about whether Young belongs in the All-Star Game, given his team has the worst record in the NBA at 9-32, but that is nothing but nonsense. Young is already the best point guard in the Eastern Conference, and he extends that lead over his counterparts almost every time out. Currently, the second-year superstar is third in the NBA in points and fourth in assists.

But just because he’s close to reaching the All-Star Game, doesn’t mean you should stop voting. To do so, click here. Voting ends on January 20th.
