After stealing Game 1 in Milwaukee, the Hawks have fallen in the last two games, including a home loss in Atlanta on Sunday. The Bucks are in control of the series as a result and now will look to take a commanding lead in Game 4. FanDuel lists Milwaukee as seven-point road favorites in the latest odds, while the over-under is set at 218.5.

After dropping Game 3 in Atlanta, it’s do or die for the Hawks in what seems like an elimination game, but they’ve been here before. In the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Atlanta was down 2-1 against the Sixers, and the odds of the Hawks coming back were slim. The 76ers were heavy favorites set at -770 to win the series before Game 4, while the Hawks were +540 underdogs. We all know how that series turned out.

Time and time again, the Hawks have been undervalued in these playoffs, as they’ve been underdogs in every series. Before Game 1 against the Bucks, Atlanta was a massive long shot to advance as the series price for Milwaukee was listed at -460. Odds shifted quite a bit though after the Bucks dropped Game 1 as they were -196 to take the series heading into Game 2.

However, after taking back-to-back games, oddsmakers feel this series is a wrap. FanDuel lists the Bucks as eye-popping -1500 favorites to move on to The Finals while the Hawks are +870 underdogs. Chase has already explored how Atlanta can come back from a 2-1 deficit, but if this young Hawks team goes down 3-1, it’ll be next to impossible to dig themselves out of that hole. Tonight’s game at State Farm Arena is a must-win for the good guys.
