It looked like Jaime Garcia to the Twins was a done deal. According to several reports all that was needed were some medical checkups and finalizations before he was officially a part of the Minnesota organization. However, late last night, Braves beat writer Mark Bowman broke news that it is a lot more than just finalizations keeping this trade from going through

The deal is still close, but if it does not happen, it is clear the Braves will contact one of several other teams who has shown interest in Garcia. The 30-year old southpaw has generated a lot of action on the market as a low-cost lefty.
