Both of the Falcons leading receivers left Sunday’s game with lower body injuries and never returned in the Falcons 23-17 loss to the Bills. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jones’s left with a hip flexor injury.
Falcons WR Julio Jones has a hip flexor injury but with a bye this week, Atlanta does not expect him to miss playing time, per source.

Dan Quinn stated that Jones did want to return to the game after exiting, but was held out for precaution. With the Falcons heading into a bye week, do not expect Jones to miss more time.

Sanu, on the other hand, is expected to miss at least 2 weeks with a hamstring injury and most likely even longer. Sanu may be underrated outside of Atlanta, but his worth is well-known throughout that locker room and the league. Hamstring issues can be lingering, and like the Falcons will be with Vic Beasley Jr., they will be extremely cautious in pushing Sanu too fast.
