Roddy White To Have Elbow Surgery

“He’ll certainly be back by Week 1.” Those were the words spoken by Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, so Falcons fans can relax. While it is nerve-wracking that White is getting surgery two weeks before the regular season, he will only have arthroscopic surgery. The maximum time of recovery for that procedure is a maximum of four weeks.

White developed the swelling in his elbow last week in a practice. Although the injury is not serious, one can never know what the repercussions can be. The starting offense has looked great the past two games, so adding White will be another weapon.

White has stated that even though he is aging (33), he has expressed that he wants to play all 16 games this season. White has experienced injuries the past few seasons, and he wants to get over the hump this year. Dan Quinn said he is not concerned about the injury, so Falcons fans should not worry either.

We will be posting updates on White’s condition throughout the rest of preseason. Stay tuned.
