Ronald Acuna Jr.’s injury looked devastating. The Braves dodged an absolute bullet, and have done a decent job treading water since. They are still in first place in the NL East and Charlie Culberson played admirably in his absence. However, after series losses to both Baltimore and Cincinnati, it is time to put a spark back in this team. Luckily they activated the young phenom from the disabled list today.
Acuna impressed in his first stint in the big leagues. However, he has been known to take off after a brief adjustment period after being promoted to every level, and fans are yet to see this from Acuna at the big league level. It is time for him to shine, and a breakout could put this Braves offense over the top. It will be interesting to see where Brian Snitker will slot Acuna into the lineup upon his return.
