Jake Gordon’s Locks

Lions (+3) vs. Bears

The Bears are headed south quickly, and like the Falcons did after Dan Quinn’s firing, I like a “live dog” game from the Lions here.

Browns (+5) vs. Titans

Probably the best game of the early window — Cleveland has been good lately. Derrick Henry notoriously gets better as the temperature drops, but Nick Chubb has been fantastic as well. I like the Browns to cover (and the under).

LA Chargers (+1) vs. Patriots

I’m all over the underdogs this week. Give me Justin Herbert in this matchup.

Packers (-9) vs. Eagles

Domination. Next game.

Chiefs (-14) vs. Broncos

I like Kansas City to roll here, even with a full QB room for Denver.

Houston (+3.5) vs. Indianapolis

I love the hook here. The Texans started off the year terribly, but they have bounced back wonderfully and are playing like a team that should be competing for the division. Even though they aren’t, I like them to keep this one within a field goal.

Giants (+10.5) at Seahawks

This line is way too big. Seattle has played a lot of close games and really should be a .500 team. Meanwhile, the Giants have lost a ton of nail-biters. I think New York is a live dog here, but they should easily keep this one close enough to cover the spread.

Raiders (-9) at Jets

Raiders bounce-back in a must-win game against the winless Jets.
