With Atlanta finishing last in the division, their 2021 schedule will be much easier than 2020. Dates are TBA:

Home:

  • Carolina Panthers (5-11)
  • Detroit Lions (5-11)
  • New England Patriots (7-9)
  • New Orleans Saints (12-4)
  • New York Jets (2-14)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (4-11-1)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5)
  • Washington Football Team (7-9)

Away:

  • Buffalo Bills (13-3)
  • Carolina Panthers (5-11)
  • Dallas Cowboys (6-10)
  • Miami Dolphins (10-6)
  • New Orleans Saints (12-4)
  • New York Giants (6-10)
  • San Francisco 49ers (6-10)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5)

I’m not even going to speculate on wins, losses, or draws without a head coach or general manager in place, but there are A LOT of winnable games on this schedule. Outside of the divisional matchups, Atlanta’s opponents combined for a total of 66 wins — fairly low. I think a lot of these teams like San Francisco, Dallas, and New England are due for some positive regression, but this feels like the first time in forever that the Falcons won’t be subject to a regular season gauntlet.
