The Falcons could claim multiple talented players hitting the waiver wire

With injuries to Isaiah Oliver and Russell Gage, the Falcons are looking thin at two critical positions of need. While they must evaluate what they have, there are a few options available that could help the team sooner rather than later, especially with the BYE week approaching:

Miller was a draft darling out of Memphis, and his pure speed could provide the Falcons with an option to help take the top off of defenses and open up the intermediate routes, a spot where Matt Ryan thrived against the Washington Football Team.

With the need at receiver, Miller seems like an obvious pick to reunite with Falcons offensive coordinator Dave Ragone, who spent time with him in Chicago.

Quinton Dunbar was a player I thought the Falcons could target during the offseason, but he eventually signed with the Cardinals. Dunbar was one of the best corners in the NFL in 2019, but he regressed in 2020 in Seattle before landing in Arizona. I still think there’s some potential, and physically, he fits the mold of Isaiah Oliver as a bigger cornerback.

I imagine the Falcons are going to stick with what they have on the roster, but I’d love to see them take fliers on two big potential upgrades.
