The Braves are to call up called up right-handed reliever Ryan Kelly prior to tomorrow’s game:
Ryan Kelly's contract will be purchased from Triple-A Gwinnett before tomorrow's game. Sugar Ray Marimon will be optioned to Gwinnett.

The 27-year old Kelly has played minor league ball for the Pirates, Rangers and Padres, but never really hit his stride until joining the Braves organization in 2014. Better late than never. Kelly had a red hot beginning of the year for AA Mississippi, giving up just a single earned run in 17 appearances. This earned him a promotion to AAA Gwinnett, where he tossed to a 2.13 ERA in ten appearances. The bullpen has been a revolving door this season, so hopefully Kelly can offer some production in the big leagues. Sugar Ray Marimon is headed back to Gwinnett for seemingly the 15th time this year. He continues to be an innings eater for Atlanta when they are short on arms. I’m excited to see Kelly work out of the pen.
