No surprise here, the Braves are focused on adding at least one more reliever before 4:00 ET today. According to Mark Bowman of MLB.com, the team is looking to add a bonafide closer to their relief core. While Felip Vazquez of the Pirates remains unlikely, an arm like Shane Greene of the Tigers is in play.
The relief market has taken a while to unfold for a reason. Per several MLB insiders, selling teams are aware of how many buyers are out there and are holding out for the best possible deal. Over the next couple of hours, expect a boatload of relievers to be moved.
