Swanson was expected to make his spring training debut last Friday but was scratched when his wrist flared up during batting practice. As initially thought by the Braves, the soreness is not anything serious. The 25-year old former #1 overall pick will make his spring training debut on Friday.

Swanson missed the end of last season and the NLDS with a wrist injury, which he later had surgery on in November. His return back to the diamond is highly anticipated, and the Braves are hoping he can become more of an offensive threat in his third season now that he is fully healthy.
