The Falcons only had one player receive league honors for the 2022 season. Chris Lindstrom was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career while also earning All-Pro honors. Now, he is being recognized among PFF’s top 101 players from the 2022 season as the highest-ranked guard and second-highest-ranked offensive lineman behind Lane Johnson and ahead of Trent Williams.

12. CHRIS LINDSTROM, ATLANTA FALCONS

Atlanta’s offense becoming the most run-heavy offense in the game played right into Lindstrom’s hands, as he built on a good career thus far to become a human bulldozer this season. Lindstrom was a phenomenal run blocker all season long, and he allowed just nine total pressures across 17 games and over 500 pass-blocking snaps. An underrated element: He committed just two penalties all season.

Lindstrom will play on his fifth-year option in 2023, which is set to pay him $13.2 million, a bargain for a player of his caliber. Now, extension talks will be on the horizon. With the Falcons already investing in Grady Jarrett and Jake Matthews, you’d have to think Chris Lindstrom is a prime candidate to be next. He sees himself in Atlanta for a long time, and I imagine Arthur Smith feels the same way.
