NFL: DEC 04 Steelers at Falcons

According to Mike Garafolo, the New York Giants have signed defensive lineman Timmy Horne off of the Atlanta Falcons‘ practice squad.

Coming out of Kansas State as an undrafted free agent, Horne started five games and appeared in all 17 games for the Falcons in 2022. He was released at the end of training camp but signed onto the practice squad where he was activated for three games due to injury.

The 6-foot-4 and 323-pound Horne has totaled 31 tackles, one quarterback hit and a pair of passes defensed. From all of the stories coming out of the locker room, Horne was beloved by his teammates in Atlanta.

In other news, the club announced they signed defensive lineman Tommy Togiai to the 53-man roster on Wednesday, according to Arthur Smith. He was signed off the Browns practice squad after appearing in 12 games in 2022, notching 13 tackles, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup, and half a sack.

The bottom of the Falcons roster continues to churn as the season finale approaches.
