Albies is the Braves second baseman of the future and one of the real exciting spots for a team that is now out of playoff contention. In his first two games, Albies was able to get one base with a walk, but had not yet come through with his first major league hit. That would change in the bottom of the ninth of Thursday night’s game, when this happened…

What an experience for the 20-year old, even if it had very little to do with the outcome of the game. Albies is one of the best contact bat prospects in all of baseball, so expect to see a lot more of these, maybe just a little shorter, as he continues his major league career.
