Baseball America ranks the Braves farm system as the fourth-best in baseball

More prospect experts continue to be high on the Braves farm system, despite all the talent that has graduated to the big leagues over the last several years. Just a couple of days after Keith Law ranked Atlanta’s minor league talent the second-best in baseball, Baseball America has put the Braves system at #4, behind only the Rays, Padres, and Dodgers.

Last season, Atlanta was also ranked the fourth-best farm system by Baseball America before being #1 in both 2017 and 2018. This year, only four Braves made their Top 100 list — Cristian Pache (#12), Drew Waters (#36), Ian Anderson (#44), and Kyle Wright (#64). If this confirms anything, it’s that Keith Law does not, in fact, hate the Braves. He just hates Drew Waters for some reason I cannot explain, who is firmly among the top 100 prospects according to Baseball America. Unsurprisingly, Cristian Pache is easily the Braves’ top-ranked prospect, and he continued to prove that a couple of days ago with a 3-3 afternoon at the plate. Pache will be starting in center field today for the Braves
