While the national media makes up bogus narratives surrounding Ronald Acuña Jr., the Braves superstar outfielder is living his best life putting on a show in the Venezuelan League. In his first at-bat as a pinch hitter, he blasted a moonshot to center field for a home run.

And yesterday, he competed in the league’s Home Run Derby, which he won, leading to the fans storming the field in celebration.

Listen, everyone can have their own opinion about Ronald Acuña. For those of you that don’t think he’s one of the coolest and most talented athletes in the sport, I’m not going to agree with you, but I’m also aware I’m not going to change your mind either.
What cannot be disputed, though, is his love and passion for the game. Everyone wants to create a narrative about money and his contract, but this right here; this has nothing to do with money. The guy just loves playing ball, no matter the circumstances. And as a side note — he looks pretty healthy in these videos. 2023 Ronald Acuña MVP mode is officially engaged.
