A.J. Terrell, the Falcons first-round pick (16th overall), headlines the group and is expected to immediately fill the hole left by Desmond Trufant, who the Falcons cut this offseason.

Marlon Davidson was Atlanta’s second-round selection, and the team is hoping he can create havoc on the inside next to Grady Jarrett for the foreseeable future.

Third-round pick, Matt Hennessy, was the first one rumored to have signed. He will compete for the starting left guard job as a rookie, along with James Carpenter, Jamon Brown, Justin McCray, and Matt Gono.

Mykal Walker and Jaylinn Hawkins were both selected in the fourth-round and are expected to be key cogs on special teams. However, Walker will also be competing for some reps at linebacker behind Deion Jones and Foyesade Oluokun.

Lastly, the Falcons took punter, Sterling Hofrichter, in the seventh round, and he will likely take over the starting duties since Matt Bosher is no longer with the team. The Falcons also have veteran Ryan Allen; however, he is coming off his worst year as a pro.
