I planned on writing something about this during the offseason because I’m not a huge fan of the Falcons current kits, but the team got the jump on me, and we will have a brand new look in April

Personally, I think it’s time to go back to our roots with this one. That includes moving back to the throwback Falcon. (Credit to Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.net, check out his page)
I also wouldn’t be opposed to the team doing something similar to their color rush uniforms. The unfortunate thing is that the league has pretty strict rules on helmet variety now. The throwback black jersey has been the fan favorite for quite sometime, but for the home uniform, I’d like to see something like this:
If not this, the current throwback alternate black would be a dope look. As much as I would love to see these bad boys back, we need to move away from the current sleeve design.
For the away set, I’m not crazy about the silver pants (sorry UGA fans). I’m a big all white guy with my uniforms. White top, white pants, white tights with the black or striped socks would be a really slick look.
And of course, we HAVE to keep the current alternates. Cleanest set in the NFL along with the Patriots all blue. This isn’t the exact rendition I like, I’d want to keep the black helmet for these.
I think a little modernization to these would give us one of the best sets in all of the NFL. Now it’s up to the team to give us a reason to buy the new jerseys.
