Though most football teams are led by their quarterback, Grady Jarrett is the voice everyone listens to in the Falcons locker room. The veteran is the longest-tenured member of the club, other than Jake Matthews.

So, when he compliments one of his teammates, we should all listen, especially if it’s a first-year player. Jarrett joined Good Morning Football’s table recently and told the NFL world to keep their eye on Bijan Robinson.

The Falcons’ 8th overall pick has a chance to become one of the most high-profile offensive players in the league right away. He’s the odds-on favorite to take home the Rookie of the Year award because he’ll have a prominent role in one of the most run-dominant offenses in football.

Arthur Smith has been adamant about a positionless approach, which makes a ton of sense. Robinson wasn’t only a dynamic runner at Texas, but he was also a threat as a pass catcher. He will be a legitimate slot receiver in this Falcons offense, enabling Smith to be extremely creative in his personnel packages, formations, and play calls.

I’m not sure Falcons fans understand how impactful Bijan Robinson is going to be. He will immediately become the face of the franchise and become the biggest show in town. Football is king, and the city of Atlanta has been begging for a superstar.
