Injuries continue to relentlessly ravage the Hawks.

De’Andre Hunter underwent an MRI and review this morning, which revealed articular wear and tear in his right knee. Following a non-surgical procedure this morning, he will miss Monday’s game vs. the Lakers. He will be reviewed next week. pic.twitter.com/TxdeOsa1Pc

I wrote last week about how well De’Andre Hunter had been playing, and it seems he wasn’t even at 100%. Hunter has been questionable the past few nights, but he has mostly toughed it out and played through some obvious pain. Hopefully his evaluation comes back clean after some well needed rest, because Atlanta’s thin rotation is going to miss a key piece for some time. The Hawks need to get healthy soon, because they’ve been playing so much better as of late and could make a playoff push at full strength.
