Ever since the end of the season, Hawks fans have turned their focus to Jaylen Brown, who is from Atlanta and is set to become a free agent at the end of next season. Much of the conversation stems from the superstar shooting guard’s unwillingness to commit to Boston long-term. His body language almost seems as if he would rather be elsewhere, and this is the NBA, the superstars generally get what they desire, especially towards the end of their contracts.

However, one thing working on Boston’s side now is their ability to offer Brown a super-max contract worth nearly $300 million. He was named to the All-NBA second team earlier this week, which makes him eligible for the super-max, something only Boston can offer. So, if Brown wants to leave Boston, he would be leaving a lot of money on the table.

On the latest episode of SportsTalkATL, we talk the All-NBA selections, and whether the Jaylen Brown to Atlanta dream is dead now that he’s eligible for a super-max contract.
