Even after a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, Vegas may not view the Hawks as a legitimate championship threat, but they do view them as a team that should easily cruise to the playoffs once again next season. Bet Online recently released their playoff odds for each team, and Atlanta is listed as a -550 favorite to make the postseason.
The folks at @betonline_ag released odds on whether every NBA team will make the playoffs.
Unsurprisingly, the Hawks are a huge favorite to make the postseason.

I would say this is a pretty safe bet. The Eastern Conference will certainly be improved, but I don’t see a scenario where the Hawks don’t make the playoffs. Unlike most teams, they can afford injuries to some of their best players and still win games, which they showed throughout last season. They very well may be the deepest team in The Association, making them a virtual lock to return to the playoffs year after year.
