We have some very horrible news to report, Hawks Forward Chandler Parsons’ career and health are in danger after being struck by a drunk driver.

Sports aside, it’s just an absolute travesty that his life has been affected like this because of the selfish actions of someone else. Chandler seemed like a good dude who was determined to get back to playing meaningful minutes in the NBA, and it’s unknown whether that will ever be a possibility anymore. I’m surprised there wasn’t a statement released sooner since this happened almost a week ago, but it’s likely the team wanted to respect him and his family’s privacy. We’re all wishing the best for Chandler and hope he can get back on the court.
