The Atlanta Braves acquire Robbie Grossman from the Detroit Tigers

The Braves have made another minor trade deadline move, snagging outfielder Robbie Grossman from the Tigers late last night:

The main appeal to Grossman is his ability to hit left-handed pitching — he’ll likely be a platoon left fielder or DH:

There’s no doubt this is a solid upgrade for the Braves, especially while only giving up a 2021 16th-round pick. Atlanta should be able to get something out of Grossman, which is something Alex Anthopoulos has done very well around the trade deadline. I doubt the club is finished, but this is a step in the right direction.
