Coming into this past Saturday’s contest against the Florida Gators, there were a lot of questions about whether this Georgia Bulldogs team had what it took to win a third straight national championship.
In their one true road game, they struggled to beat an Auburn Tigers team that might be the worst team in the SEC West. They did look mighty impressive against Kentucky, but then they followed it up with a piss-poor performance on the road against Vanderbilt.
It caused some to even pick Florida to upset the Bulldogs in Jacksonville. But on Saturday, Kirby Smart’s squad flexed their muscles, reminding everyone why they should still be considered the favorites to win their third straight national title.
