I wish Kyle Muller all the best, but he has his work cut out for him against Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani. Regardless, the rest of Los Angeles’ lineup isn’t that imposing, so hopefully Muller can start off 2023 on a good note. I already talked about how the Sean Murphy trade was looking rough for Oakland, so maybe Muller can provide some value in that aspect. Muller has never faced the Angels, but he better get used to them. He had a 5.65 ERA in Spring Training, but I have faith he can be a quality starter.
