Chase Irle’s Picks

I bet on the Jets last week, so I deserved to go 1-2. That’s all I’m going to say about it — time to get back on track in Week 3.

Dallas (+5) at Seattle

I think Seattle’s offense is legit, but their defense is terrible. They could pull this one out, but +5 is a HUGE number for a team that is this bad at stopping opposing offenses, and the Cowboys have one of the best offenses in the game.

Philadelphia (-4.5) vs. Cincinnati

The Eagles are off to a horrid start, and Carson Wentz looks like a rookie out there. However, this is a must-win for them, and the game is won in the trenches, where I expect Philadelphia to dominate on both sides of the ball. I love Joe Burrow. He’s as legit as they come, but he will get roughed up again on Sunday.

New England (-5) vs. Las Vegas

I’m not buying the Raiders at all. On Monday night, their win against the Saints was impressive, but New Orleans was incredibly banged up, and I actually picked Las Vegas to win. Now, they go across the country on a short week to face the Patriots, who look pretty damn good with Cam Newton. I like New England to win this one easily.

Season Record (3-3)

Jake Gordon’s Picks

Of course, the garbage can Saints ruined a 3-0 week for me, but I came out nicely. Thankfully, I only put one unit on them, and I was very locked into the 49ers drubbing the Jets. Let’s dive in. I wanted to fade the Jets again, but I’m not dumb enough to bet a Philip Rivers led team -11. The 49ers -6 vs. the Saquon Barkley-less Giants is appealing, but they’re so banged up.

Seahawks (-4.5) v Cowboys

Seattle is legit, and last week was a very emotional win for Dallas. Seahawks by two scores.

Packers (+3) v Saints

News flash — the Saints aren’t that good. Brees is beyond washed, and Green Bay has been churning out points on offense like nobody’s business. The Aaron Rodgers revenge tour continues through New Orleans.

Titans (-2) v Vikings

Minnesota is looking awfully dumb for trading Stefon Diggs. Kirk Cousins is in a contract year, and the Vikings could be looking for a new quarterback in 2021.

Season Record (3-3)
