According to Sam Amico, the Clippers are interested in acquiring Clint Capela from the Hawks:

This comes on the heels of rumors that the Hawks have been shopping John Collins. The Clippers may also be players for Collins:

Mostly, though, it appears the Clippers are looking for a backup big man that may not cost them much. They are also believed to be willing to surrender point guard John Wall as a part of any trade.

While the Clippers have not been linked to Hawks forward John Collins, several league sources have told Hoops Wire they would not be surprised to see them get involved. They could also make a run at Hawks center Clint Capela, sources said.

As for future picks, the Clippers have already traded their 2024 and ’26 first-rounders. They still have their ’28 and ’29 first-rounders available, though.

I doubt the Hawks would be *that* interested in John Wall, especially in a potential Clint Capela deal. I’m not sure who the Hawks would ask for. The Clippers are low on young assets and cap space. Somebody like Luke Kennard could make the salary work, and Terance Mann is a useful young piece. I don’t see the Hawks and the Clippers as a match, but maybe they end up working something out.
